About us
CHG Connect is an affinity membership scheme created for the Church of the Holy Ghost in South Africa (SA). We recognize the vital role that Holy Ghost churches play in their provinces, communities, and society at large. At the same time, we acknowledge that churches must operate within the legal framework governing social organizations and religious institutions in the country.
CHG Connect positions itself as a catalyst for building a framework that ensures traditional churches and their leadership receive the highest level of support from both government structures and financial institutions in the provinces where they operate.
Our membership scheme is specifically designed to support and empower the branches of the Church of the Holy Ghost and their members. In collaboration with commercial banking partners, we have developed products and services that allow church leaders (Reverends) and members to access proper banking facilities for all church contributions.
In addition, through our partnerships with reputable life insurance underwriters, church members will qualify for funeral cover tailored to their needs. Looking ahead, our short-to-medium-term goal is to give Holy Ghost churches access to financial products that will help them build their own places of worship and acquire the capital assets required to manage and grow their ministries effectively.

We aim to strengthen churches by creating a framework that links them to government, financial institutions, and insurers, ensuring compliance with legal requirements while unlocking opportunities for growth. Through strategic partnerships, CHG Connect helps church leaders and members access secure banking for contributions, affordable funeral cover, and, in the future, financial solutions for building churches and acquiring vital assets. Our mission is to uplift Holy Ghost churches so they can better serve their communities and society at large.
